What are Bake 'N Ship® trays?

The Bake 'N Ship® tray is unique in that it allows bakers to bake, slice, freeze, ship and display all in one aesthetically pleasing package.

Bake 'N Ship® products are the leading food grade, laminated, corrugated ‘pour, bake and ship’ trays in the baking manufacturing industry.

Who is Laminating Technologies Industries (LTI)?

We are the founding innovators of this technology and offer the baking industry the best quality, food-safe certified corrugated and laminated products, custom designs and cost-efficient solutions.

LTI is the founding leader in the laminated bake, freeze and ship industry.

Who buys Bake 'N Ship® trays?

The buyers of Bake 'N Ship® trays are generally bakeries that offer wholesale services, bakeries looking to move away from metal pans, bakeries looking for a disposable tray with square corners, or bakeries looking to improve efficiency and reduce labor needs.

How do you sell your trays?

Bake 'N Ship® trays are sold directly from our manufacturing plant in Atlanta, GA as well as through a network of bakery supply distributors.

Why haven't I heard about this before?

We used to serve a niche market of distributors. The idea of a PET lined baking tray is still relatively new for the baking industry. We are making it our mission to make these products available to bakeries of all sizes!

What sets Bake 'N Ship® trays apart from its competitors?

Unlike other one-step tray products, Bake 'N Ship® has better tray forming consistency, better release characteristics, and no leaking. As the manufacturers of the Original Baking Tray, you can also count on our 30+ year experience surrounding ovenable baking products.

What is required to use these Bake 'N Ship® trays?

These baking trays and pads or circles do require a convection oven. They cannot be used with direct heat.

If the trays are not folded properly then performance of the baked product can be impacted.

Are the trays leak-proof?

The trays are designed with web corners to form a pan having water-tight configurations. The tray corners and locking mechanism folds outward, as opposed to inward thereby eliminating leakage of ingredients.

Are the trays non-stick?

The surface of the polyester laminated trays provides excellent release characteristics, thereby eliminating or greatly reducing the need for release agent or parchment paper.

What types of products use Bake 'N Ship® trays?

Sheet Cakes, Brownies, Strudels, Cheesecakes, Bars of all varieties and other products prepared using Bake ‘N Ship® Trays and Discs can be baked, cut, frozen and shipped without ever de-panning.

Are the tray walls coated?

All LTI products are laminated with a 48 gauge clear polyester film that is FDA approved for food contact. The corrugated sheet laminated with LTI products gives them superior strength and performance.

What's the temperature range for the trays?

LTI products have a High Melt Index and Expansive Temperature Tolerances. You can bake in the trays at temperatures up to 400° F in a convection oven and freeze at up to -10°F.

How do the trays stand up to moisture?

Because of the Polyester film laminate, ingredients will not migrate into the packaging. LTI products provide a 100% barrier to moisture absorption and a Low Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate (MVTR).

Are the trays all the same size/color?

Available in custom sizes and finishes. Standard finishes are kraft or black.

Do you have a food safety certification?
